Convention explores bitcoins in the art world

Dubbed as part art exhibition, part technology convention, and part bitcoin club, the Bitcoin Meets Art event taking place at Stockholm’s Capitol concert venue on August 23 will explore the role of bitcoins in the art market.

The event will bring together those interested in buying art with bitcoins and artists inspired by the digital currency. It hopes to give more control to artists by helping them cut out the middlemen.
