AXA ART CEO poised to take new role

CEO of AXA ART Versicherung AG Dr Ulrich Guntram is moving on to become regional CEO for AXA Corporate Solutions in Asia, effective April 1, 2014. He will replace Ergu Genya, who has been in this position since 2011.

Dr Guntram has held various management positions within the AXA Group for the past 17 years.  In 2001, he assumed responsibility for AXA’s art insurance business as CEO of AXA ART Versicherung AG, where he led a global team in driving the success of AXA ART.

“Ulrich has been instrumental in developing a unique culture at AXA ART, which has contributed to  making the organisation the global  leader it is today in its segment,” said Jacques de Vaucleroy, Chairman of AXA ART Versicherung AG  and  member of AXA’s global management team.  “During his tenure, Ulrich established a vision for AXA ART which included its emphasis on becoming deeply woven into the international art community.  This has led to AXA ART as the ultimate choice for specialist coverage globally.
