Vango enhances art-buying app

Vango, the award-winning app for buying and selling original art, has released an enhanced version of its platform that is designed to be sleeker and more attractive than its existing one.

With functionality similar to popular music apps such as Beats and Spotify, Vango aims to help users find art based on their style, mood, location and budget.

It has also launched new discovery channels which include: Tastemaker Collections, groupings of art selected by Vango’s network of influencers; Art by Mood – a selection of emotion and atmosphere-based collections; Art by Room – selected collections of works fit for certain types of space and design aesthetic; and Art by Location, which uses the buyer’s current location to connect them to local artists.

“We are constantly exploring innovative ways to help those outside the art world discover artwork in ways that relate to them,” said Vango founder Ethan Appleby.
